Peach Smoothie

This peach smoothie is bright and satisfying for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. Peaches represent sunshine to me. It’s always in the dead of winter that we long for summer.

Peaches contain phosphorous, along with calcium and vitamin C, these nutrients play an important role in strengthening bones and gums. Peaches are also loaded with antioxidants vitamin C and zinc that support the immune system. Both zinc and vitamin C help you fight infection and support healing. Peaches are also great for diabetics who have to watch insulin response to fruit that can spike blood sugar levels.

How to make Peach Smoothie

  • Mix together yogurt, non-fat milk, oats, vanilla protein powder, peaches, honey, cinnamon, and ginger. Add a large cup of ice and blend in a high-speed blender.
