Total Time35 mins
- 1/3 c filtered water
- 2/3 c Waxing Kara Honey
- 3 Firm pears halved and cored
- 2/3 c coconut milk or heavy cream
Pour water into skillet, add honey. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the mixture is bubbling. Add pears to skillet, cut side down. Cover and reduce heat. Allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.
Uncover, reduce to medium heat and cook until sauce is golden brown, around 5 minutes. Add coconut milk (or cream) and shake skillet until it's fully integrated. About 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, remove pears from the pan and allow to cool. Carefully plate pears while still warm. Lightly drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve as you wish with side of caramel sauce.
