Honey Beer Bread Recipe

  • 4 tbsp. butter softened
  • 3 c flour self-rising
  • 1 tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 12 oz beer bottle
  • 3 tbsp. Waxing Kara Honey


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease a bread pan with one tablespoon of the butter
  • Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add in the beer stopping periodically to combine. Add honey, combining all until just mixed.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan, and top with the rest of the butter over top of the dough.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Check the bread with a toothpick to make sure that it's done-if the toothpick comes out clean, it's ready!
