Seaweed and Green Tea: Sea + Tea Mask is made with the following key ingredients:
Seaweed. Spas have long used seaweed in treatment protocols for cleansing and exfoliating the skin. Rich in vitamins and minerals, including beta-carotene when applied to the body, seaweed draws fluid and toxins from the skin. It is a cleanser, strengthening agent and exfoliant for dead skin cells and other surface impurities which can block pores. Seaweed’s natural compounds can have a positive effect on acne, reducing swelling after flare-ups.
Green Tea. Studies have proven that topical green tea formulations improve the skin. Polyphenols found in green tea may slow down the development of some signs of aging.
Rhassoul Clay. Some the finest spas in the world have used Rhassoul Clay for centuries as soap, shampoo and skin conditioner. The texture feels like silk on the skin. Effective for cleansing, it is used to reduce dryness as it improves skin’s clarity, texture and elasticity.
Directions: Wash your face and your body. Once a week, mix two parts of dry mask to one part water or other liquid to make a creamy paste (you may need more liquid depending on your climate). Apply to face and neck or the whole body. Leave on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water. Be sure to remove all of the product. To boost the power of the mask, choose a targeted mixer for your skin type, in place of water.
