Overnight Oats Recipes in Celebration of National Oatmeal Month

One of the fastest breakfasts to throw together, these overnight oats recipes can serve as a base for any ideas you may have. It’s so easy to combine the ingredients, mix in milk or dairy-free milk of your choice, add your favorite fruit, and breakfast is served in the morning. Refrigerate overnight and wake up to a hearty meal that is ready to go as is, or toss it in a saucepan and warm it up.

We like to mix everything together and store it, overnight and in the refrigerator, in a mason jar. This makes it so easy to grab and go in the morning.

One step we were recently introduced to is the idea of heating the chilled oats in the morning. If you’d prefer a hot breakfast on a cold day, this is a great thing to do! Just combine the ingredients as you normally would (with the exception of fruit or chocolate, which you can add after you heat the oats up), pour into a pan, and gently warm up. It’s as simple as 1 2 3!
