Overnight Oats Recipes in Celebration of National Oatmeal Month

Overnight oats are a convenient and tasty breakfast option that can be customized to your liking. All you need to do is combine the ingredients, add milk (or a dairy-free milk alternative), and toss in your favorite fruit. Leave it in the refrigerator overnight, then enjoy it cold or heated up in the morning. It’s ready in a flash and perfect for busy mornings.

To make our overnight oats even more convenient, we mix everything in a mason jar and store it in the fridge overnight. This makes it easy to grab on our way out the door in the morning.

One step we were recently introduced to is heating the chilled oats in the morning. If you’d prefer a hot breakfast on a cold day, this is a great thing to do! Just combine the ingredients as you usually would (with the exception of fruit or chocolate, which you can add after you heat the oats), pour into a pan, and gently warm up. It’s as simple as 1 2 3!
