Dairy-Free Hot Cocoa

This dairy-free Hot Cocoa is a healthier treat than the dairy variety. Cocoa is a superfood that was once considered by some self-appointed health experts to be bad for your health. While the average chocolate bar probably doesn’t contain any real cocoa, those that do, with little sugar and low-fat content can be considered good for you. It has been proven over time that cocoa is good for health.

Baking with beets may seem like an odd thing, but you’ll have to trust us that they’re as good as the regular kind of brownie because you will know how much better for you than they actually are. Since beets naturally have a mild flavor, the cocoa shines through.
