Dairy-Free Hot Cocoa

This Dairy-Free Hot Cocoa is a healthier treat than the dairy variety. Cocoa is a superfood that was once considered by some self-appointed health experts to be bad for your health. While the average chocolate bar probably doesn’t contain any real cocoa, those that do, with little sugar and low-fat content can be considered good for you. It has been proven over time that cocoa is good for health.

How to Make Dairy-Free Haute Cocoa

  • Mix cocoa, honey, salt, and about 2 tablespoons almond milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until cocoa and honey are well blended.
  • Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat it over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until hot. Don’t overheat.
