This year, treat dad to a delicious Father’s Day dinner. To make planning easier, we’ve compiled some of our favorite recipes that we think dad will love. Each and every recipe listed below has been tested, and sampled, by us.
It seems that most dads like to be king-of-the-grill, offering hot dogs and steaks or whole fish and kabobs. We’re also big fans of the grill! We find that using our Eastern Shore Honey on the grill is amazing. The sweetness and sugar in the honey will caramelize and develop a rich smokey flavor in the heat.
One of our favorite honeys to use for grilling is Orange Blossom. This honey is very thick, and almost buttery, and makes a beautiful glaze. Blueberry Honey is equally as good, and can be blended with olive oil, seasonings, and lemon juice for on chicken or fish.
Bee Inspired Father’s Day Dinner Ideas
What’s dad’s favorite meal? Does he love chicken and seafood, or is he a red meat guy? Whatever the case may be, these Bee Inspired® recipes will bring a smile to his face. And, you’ll love them too!
One of our favorite recipes is Grilled Honey Glazed Chicken. It’s very quick and simple to make, and pairs well with grilled veggies and potato dishes.
If you’re a fan of Asian-inspired food and wings, try our Thai Chicken Wings. It’s very easy to make, and can be adapted to suit whatever cooking method you prefer.
Our Honey Glazed Salmon is fast and easy, and perfect as a light meal during any warm summer day. Dad will love this paired with grilled veggies, rice pilaf, or a good baked potato.
For the vegetarian guys out there, our Seitan Skewers with Chimichurri Citrus-Herb Sauce would be a great meal! If seitan isn’t your thing, tofu, chicken, or fish would also work well with the sauce in this recipe.
Dad will love our BBQ Brisket recipe made with our very own, home-made barbecue sauce. Even though store bought BBQ sauce is sometimes easier, creating the this sauce from scratch adds that special extra touch for dad.
Last for the main course, this beef tenderloin steak with red wine mushroom sauce may be the best dinner for the meat-lover, carnivore dad this father’s day. But, remember that veggies are just as important too!
Don’t forget about sides!
These grilled heirloom carrots make an excellent side dish to add color and brighten any meal. The dressing is versatile and can be added to any vegetable that can be grilled such as corn, asparagus and onions.
Artichokes seem intimidating, but they don’t have to be! Our Grilled Artichokes with Thai Honey Vinaigrette just take a little bit of prep work to get ready, but they’re delicious and very well worth it.
Our Grilled Vegetables make a perfect side to any meal. Made with our honey balsamic dressing, they brighten up any meal. And, they’re pretty darn yummy, too!
