Chocolate Overnight Oats are a great start to any day of the week. Having a busy day doesn’t mean you can neglect your health. If anything, you need to protect your health and wellness, even more, when you’re busy, so you’ll have the stamina you need to get through the tough times. That’s one reason we love to create easy, healthy meals.
Starting your day on right is the most important thing you can do for yourself.
Even when you’re super busy, finding and protecting a little bit of time for yourself is critical. That might mean taking five minutes to meditate (we love the 10% Happier app for easy guided meditations), finding 20 minutes for a vigorous walk (even if it’s just around the block) and nourishing yourself with quick but healthy breakfast foods and drinks.
This Chocolate Honey Overnight Oats recipe is a perfect example. Simply place it in the fridge the night before and you can wake up to a deliciously decadent, but super healthy breakfast!
Try this for a week — creating 30 minutes of morning time that is your own — and see if it makes a difference in your day. We find it makes us even more productive. The famous business quote is to go faster, sometimes you have to go slower. That is particularly true in the morning.
The great thing about this Chocolate Honey Overnight Oats recipe is you can start this process the night before. Pour the ingredients together the night before and that way when you wake up in the morning, at least one thing is already done!
And it’s like a little reminder from yourself:
Hey. I thought about you last night and so I made you this bowl of
Chocolate Honey Overnight Oats. Enjoy!
The flavor in this Chocolate Honey Overnight Oats is amazing. You might find yourself looking forward to getting up for another bowl tomorrow!
