Looking for a dessert that will turn a bland meal into something memorable? Our brownie sundae may convince you to fall off the dieting bandwagon. If you’ve been behaving since that New Year’s resolution, you may want to skip this blog. I find anything dark and deep chocolate irresistible, and our Sexy Brownie Sundae is no exception. Everyone in the family will enjoy this dessert, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day. Nothing says I love you better than chocolate.
I think the best brownies are the ones that are chewy and dense, but still crumbly. After all, who likes a spongy, dry brownie? Using honey in the batter keeps the brownies moist as they bake up, although you will have to watch the time and heat to make sure they don’t burn. Honey tends to caramelize faster than cane sugar, so baking with it requires more attention. Don’t let that scare you away, though! These brownies are still super easy and should only take around 20 minutes of prep time.
Be sure to pick up your favorite vanilla ice cream and heavy cream to complete this sundae. Whip up the heavy cream with a tablespoon of Eastern Shore Honey for an extra little surprise. Top the brownies with ice cream, honey whipped cream and this amazing Honey Peanut Fudge Sauce to make it even sweeter.
Is it possible to improve on the perfect creation that is chocolate? Yes! Here are some of our favorite Bee Inspired suggestions to make these brownies even better:
