How to make this Fish Dish

  • Combine water, tamari, lime juice, and honey in a glass baking dish or bowl.
  • Add fish and marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet sear marinated fish in a very hot saucepan for about a minute each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer to oven and bake for 5-10 minutes (based on the thickness of the filet).
  • Cook until the fish is cooked through.
  • For the sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat, add garlic, add honey and mix well.
  • Serve each fish fillet with 2 teaspoons of the sauce and top with toasted slivered almonds.
