- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 1 lb fish fillet snapper, trout, whatever you like cut into 4 equal portions.
- 1/4 c Waxing Kara Honey
- 1/4 c lime juice
- 1/4 c low sodium organic tamari sauce
- 2 tsp. slivered almonds
Combine water, tamari, lime juice and honey in a glass baking dish or bowl. Add fish and marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet sear marinated fish in a very hot saucepan for about a minute each side until golden brown. Transfer to oven and bake for 5-10 minutes (based on the thickness of the filet). Cook until the fish is cooked through.
For sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat, add garlic, add honey and mix well.
Serve each fish fillet with 2 teaspoons of the sauce and top with toasted slivered almonds.
